Since 1999, Ross Chocolates has grown from a small manufacturing operation in the kitchen of Bob & Lynda Ross into one of Canadas leading manufacturers of No Sugar Added and Lactose Free chocolate products.
The story of Ross Chocolates begins in 1995 when co-founder, Robert Ross, was diagnosed with diabetes. With a belief that life-threatening does not mean life-stopping, and a craving for chocolate that only began when he was told he wouldnt be able to have it, Bob set out to create a quality product that would satisfy even the most discerning chocolate lover while suiting a diabetic diet. The outcome was the creation of Ross Chocolates, produced with pure smooth Belgian chocolate and which is sweetened with Maltitol, a natural sweetener made from corn. Ross Chocolates are low in impactible carbs making it diabetic friendly and truly a guilt-free pleasure for anyone to enjoy.
Currently, Ross Chocolates are produced at our GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) approved facility in Scotch Creek, British Columbia, and we are about to break ground on a second manufacturing plant in Merritt, British Columbia, scheduled to open in the Fall of 2005. Ross Chocolates is committed to researching and creating products that promote a healthier lifestyle to consumers worldwide. An example of this commitment is the recent addition of our line of products made from pure Lactose Free Belgian chocolate. Four delicious new flavors are available, produced with non-dairy Rice Milk. They are also Kosher Pareve (Neutral) Certified and able to be enjoyed by the millions of people suffering from lactose intolerance worldwide.
As Ross Chocolates has expanded from its modest beginning to a worldwide leader in No Sugar Added and now Lactose Free chocolates, so has Bob and Lyndas volume of correspondence from diabetics around the world who thank them for this "Truly Guilt-Free Pleasure". Our team at Ross Chocolates invites you to try any one of our quality products and looks forward to bringing you exciting new products in the years to come.
Sincerely,
Bob & Lynda Ross |
